Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, including regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and hereget more info the check here bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
