Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It does inform your decision.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
